A pathway for engineers earlier in their careers

On suitable projects, an early-career engineer works on real client work alongside an experienced one. Here is how that works.

How the pathway works

  • Paired with a senior engineer

You work alongside an experienced engineer who leads the project and is there to answer questions.

  • Scoped tasks

Your senior engineer breaks the work into tasks sized so you can do them well and learn along the way.

  • Code review and feedback

Everything you write is reviewed, and you get plain, specific feedback you can use on the next task.

  • Real projects

The work is real client work on suitable projects, not exercises. The accountable lead stays responsible for the result.

Sensitive data

Work involving regulated or sensitive data is staffed with senior engineers only. Early-career engineers are not placed on it.

What this is and is not

This is not a promise of placement. Work depends on what projects need, and each role says so when it is posted. Contractor engagements are paid.
